although he was planning to leave willingly, he told me that he can't help but feel a sense of being stabbed in the back by a bunch of self righteous traitors.
he gave tours for years, always telling the visitors "this is the best way of life, i would never change anything here and i'll never regret making this decision to come here.

I'm sorry about DJS coming in and derailing the thread. I can understand his initial response to a degree, but after that it just appears to be his pride getting the better of him: he already stated his assessment of you and he HAS to be right to save face. Whether or not that assumption of mine is true, there is no excuse for his name calling and insults. Just plain rude and unnecessary. Might seem that way, but there's hypocrisy and double standards and immorality in every strata of society, and yes, JWs have it too. When people claim to be honorable is when it stands out as most shocking, whether it's an entertainer that acts fatherly, (Bill Cosby), an inspirational public figure, (Jared the Subway guy), religious, (JW pedo elders), political, (Bill Clinton), or both of the latter, (Martin Luther King Jr.).

Yes, it happens. My grandfather slept with his brothers wife but was reinstated and reappointed an elder shortly thereafter. My grandmother slept with her brother in law (the same one) in a separate incident, and they were reinstated as well. Both couples were good friends til death. Yeah, creepy.
